Fun Run Cross Country

Our FUN RUN is next Wednesday 12 August. Our emphasis is on FUN as well as fitness, with the competitive longer cross country course for the Year 4-6 students keen to try out for the interschool competition.

The Year 4-6 students will run a course that heads out of the school grounds, which circles Hare Puke Park (and makes use of the park slide). Those children doing the interschool track will continue along the outskirts of the park before heading back onto the field by the dirt mound.

The Year 1-3 students will complete a course within the school field (including obstacles to navigate under, over and through, and also the large dirt mound beside our school boundary). Tūī children can choose which track they will run. We will finish the day with a staff/ students/ whānau relay race so remember to bring your gear!

There will be a $2 sausage sizzle running from 11.30am so students are welcome to bring a $2.00 coin for that.
