Mid Year Achievement Data

At our most recent board meeting, Sally Grylls-Thomas (Deputy Principal), presented an analysis of the 2020 midyear achievement results in the core areas of reading, writing and maths.

Below is an overview of the gains our students have made during 2020.

What’s Working Well?

Our achievement results (particularly levels of accelerated progress) provide strong evidence to support our innovative approach to teaching and learning.

As a new school we designed our approach to teaching and learning on the latest research and evidence.

On The Radar
As a decile 10 school unfortunately our Govt. funding targeted for learning support is very minimal (only $12,500 for our roll of close to 300 learners). Fortunately we are very resourceful and creative and are funding learning support of well in excess of $100,000 (specific support focused on meeting the needs of ALL learners eg smaller class sizes, curriculum resources/equipment plus also targeted supports for students learning English or with learning, behaviour, social/emotional or health needs)

This is where the voluntary school donation is helpful, and we appreciate any support here.
