Important Back to School Reminders

Tony GreyFebruary 7, 2022

Some important reminders for the term.

Morning DROP-OFF:

  • Parents are highly encouraged to drop their kids off in the drop off zone or for children to bike, walk or scooter to school. There will be a teacher from each team at the main entrance from 8.15am, ready to welcome the students.
  • Students need to go straight to their classrooms (there is no "outside play" before school because we need to try & keep our class groups separate).
  • Because of the above, no students onsite before 8.15am please.
  • Please only enter the school if you really have to (e.g. new entrants on first day, new families, or if your child is a little anxious/upset). Masks must be worn.
  • Pūkeko have their own contact register. All other parents please head to the office before coming in to school (you will need to scan the Covid tracing QR code, as well as sign-in at the office)

Afternoon PICK-UP:

  • To avoid congestion at the end of the day, Pūkeko & Kererū students leave at 2.25pm. Kāhu and Tūī students leave at 2.30pm
  • Students collected from the locations shown on the map (linked here). Parents please wait here, maintaining distancing and wearing masks.
  • Please expect delays in the school carpark, and consider using the many carparks surrounding our school.
  • If your child is even slightly unwell, please keep them at home!
  • Masks to be worn by Year 4-6 students. Our preference is that the Year 3’s in Tūī Rua also wear a mask.
  • Please have a good look through this link below, regarding our plans under the Red setting:
