Last week we had a lockdown by request of the NZ Police due to an incident in the neighbouring area (not at the school itself).

The wellbeing and safety of our students is a priority for our staff and board of trustees. Please see information below regarding the Keeping Ourselves Safe programme which will be taught a little later this term.

This week, we are lucky enough to have Te Ahi Ora visiting our school.

Research shows that students who are regularly absent or late to school are more likely to have gaps in their learning making it more difficult to keep up with their peers.

We had a LOT of excitement in Kererū Rua recently, with a visit from Dinosaur Darren & Rista the Raptor Handler!

Last week we held our annual Fun Run for Tūī & Kāhu students. It was a stunning day for the event with the emphasis on FUN!
