Welcome back to Term 3, and what will hopefully be a more “normal” term. With Matariki (Māori New Year) we are regarding it as a new start, and the chance to reconnect, refresh and reinvigorate.

This term we are hosts for many University of Waikato trainee teachers. They will work alongside our own teachers and provide our students with some amazing opportunities.

Our assemblies are called Wā Ngākau, which literally means heart time, but in our context is about celebrating the things that make up the heart of our school.

Each week we receive numerous requests from families seeking enrolment with an address out of our enrolment zone.

A great opportunity to join the team at Te Ao Mārama and a fun, inclusive environment. Spotless (the facility management company of our private partnership school) are seeking a new fulltime caretaker.

Towards the end of 2019 we held an initial hui to gauge interest in establishing a Whānau Support Group. We had an excellent response! We were due to meet again this year but COVID-19 put a halt to that. Our next get together will be tonight at 7pm and everyone is welcome.
