Whiria te tāngata - 3 February

Welcome to 2023

Tēnā koutou katoa me ngā mihi i runga i ngā tūāhuatanga o te wā, kua hipa te tau | greetings to you all as we start a new school year.

On Tuesday we restarted the year with 415 students (up from 117 students on day #1 2019).

An extra special welcome to our many new students and families that started at Te Ao Mārama this year.

It’s been nice to be back at school & see the smiling faces of our students, as they reconnect with their classmates and our team. There has been such a beautiful vibe in and amongst classes and the playground.

Our teachers have been busy creating great learning environments and experiences, focused on establishing strong relationships.

Please enjoy reading our first newsletter of 2023, which we call Whiria te tāngata (this is the Māori proverb {whakatauki} gifted to our school), meaning Weave the people together.

Please also feel free to contact us with any queries.
