Principal Post - End of Year Message
I would like to take this opportunity to offer my thanks to you all for everything you have done throughout the year for our school community. We have appreciated you working with us to provide the best possible learning environment for our tamariki. This year we have been working on the outside environment including the entrance and natural play areas which have reflected our cultural narrative.
We appreciate the parents, staff and whānau who have taken on the responsibility of coaching, supporting or managing the many teams and groups. It has been a real highlight to see the tamariki attending all of these events with your help and support.
We would like to acknowledge the time, dedication and commitment of our School Board chaired by our Presiding Member Josh Pretty including Shaun Ogilvie, Luke van den Broek, Ange Larmer, Anna Palmer, Rebecca Williams and Harrison McLennan. We will be having Board elections next year and look forward to continuing to have a strong board to govern the school.
This year our PTA led by Sharmella Voice has provided our community with a range of social and fundraising events. We have appreciated Sharmella and her team who have worked effectively with our staff to fundraise for a range of events. We look forward to working with Sharmella and her team in the new year. Thank you for your continuing support and positive contribution to our school.
Finally to our staff you have created a range of learning opportunities for our children throughout the year. I am grateful for your commitment and dedication to our school and community.
I wish you all a well deserved, happy and safe break and look forward to seeing everyone at the start of 2025.
Have a safe and happy holiday season.
