Hello Tamariki and Whānau, we are the school reporters for Term 1 & 2. The school needs Reporters because parents do not know enough about what students at school are doing. So the Reporter group is a group of students volunteering to give reporting a go. The articles will be posted on the Te Ara Maurea Roydvale School website. In the picture above, we have the Term 1 and 2 School Reporters on their first meeting of the year. 

We interviewed some Reporters on why they would like to be in the reporter group. Here is what they had to say: 

Conner said: "I would like to be a part of the Reporter Group Because it is my last year so I want to participate in as many duties as possible."

Eve B said: "I love the reporter group because I love writing articles and I love making the videos."

Jonty said: "I´ve always loved news and it's a dream come true to be a news reporter."

Aamena said: "I like the reporter group because I like doing exciting stuff and when I did the reporter group last year it was very fun and thrilling."

We really like the Reporter group and we hope we can get more people to join us. Parents - make sure you keep an eye out for our exciting articles that are coming this term!
