Celebrating Our Attendance
Every term the Ministry of Education analyse our attendance data. Our school analyses this data and looks at groups of students and how we can support them in improving their attendance. The data below shows you our overall attendance.
Our school in 2022
In Term 1 we had an average attendance of 85%,
In Term 2 we had an average attendance of 87%
In Term 3 we had an average attendance of 90%
In Term 4 we had an average attendance of 91%

In Term 1 we had an average attendance of 90%,
Over the last 5 terms
Year 5 had the highest percentage of students attending and our Asian ethnic group attended most regularly.
Students attending 0-70% half days had the highest proportion of unjustified absences, with 26% of their absences being due to unjustified reasons.

Did you know?
If you send a message to the school or leave an email without explanation of the reason your child is away then this is classified as explained but unjustified. It’s really important that you let us know the reason why.
ERO report - Parent attitude makes a difference
The Education Review Office regularly provide reports on different aspects of education. Recently they published a report on the attendance. One of the significant findings is that your attitude towards attendance matters. Thank you to our community for working hard to ensure our children are attending.
