During​ ​a​ ​Te​ ​Reo​ ​Māori​ ​Provision​ ​scoping​ ​hui,​ ​a​ ​conversation​ ​was​ ​initiated​ ​by​ ​the​ ​tumuaki (Jenny)​ ​about​ ​increasing​ ​bicultural​ ​perspectives​ ​and​ ​visual​ ​representation​ ​of​ ​their​ ​cultural narrative​ ​throughout​ ​the​ ​school.​ ​Roydvale​ ​has​ ​indicated​ ​they​ ​would​ ​like​ ​a​ ​dual​ ​name​ ​for​ ​the school​ ​as​ ​well​ ​as​ ​dual​ ​language​ ​for​ ​their​ ​school​ ​values.
