Principal Post - July
The end of the term is fast approaching and we valued seeing so many whānau join us for the Student -Led conferences and at our open afternoon. The children enjoyed the Mātariki celebrations that were held across the school, thank you to Deb and Tayla for organising these events.
Education Review Office
The Board celebrated with the teaching staff with a special morning tea for our latest Education Review Office report that identified a significant number of successes across the school. Last Wednesday we shared a morning tea with the group of Russley Residents who come every week and read with our children. Thank you to the residents for being part of our school community.
Uniforms
Please note the changes to the school uniform that have been made due to the manufacturing lines that have been discontinued. The new soft shell jacket is available for viewing in the office for those of you who would like to view.

Congratulations to Zoe who recently participated in the South Island Championships for Artistic Swimming held in Queenstown with two medals. She was placed 3rd in her individual figures and also won a gold medal for coming first in a dolphin group routine. Zoe was really proud of all the time she put into training and the medals were unexpected. Congratulations Zoe.
We hope you all have a restful and relaxing winter break and we look forward to seeing you all at the beginning of Term 3.
