The end of Term 1 is fast approaching. A reminder that the Easter break for schools is Friday, Monday and Tuesday. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday 3 April. 

We would like to thank the whānau who were able to attend our open session this afternoon, where we could celebrate all the work that we have completed over the term. Many of our whānau commented on how they have valued seeing their child’s learning on the Hero posts. Thank you to the whānau who comment on the post, the children and staff really value these interactions.

We have had a great term with a lot to celebrate. Mid March two Evaluation Partners from the Education Review Office met with the Leadership Team and spent time in the school. They were able to visit classrooms and see the practice that is happening across the school. As part of this process they write a report to the community on their findings. This will be available to you next term. We will share this with you when it is public.

PTA
Our PTA have worked hard this term with our picnic and Easter raffle. Thank you to Sharmella and her subcommittee members who have done an amazing job of organising these events this term. The children really enjoyed watching all those fabulous Easter raffles being drawn at assembly.

Russley Village

We are fortunate to continue our connection with The Russley Village residents who will be working in the learning spaces listening to children read. This is a reciprocal learning opportunity for our tamariki and the residents. We feel very fortunate to have this positive connection.
