The Number One NED Show

School Reporters —

Reported by Ollie.K, Monty.S, Yiting.S and Conner.J

On Friday the 18th of August the NED show came to Te Ara Maurea Roydvale School. It was run by someone called Abraham. He was really funny and everyone liked him and he had a yoyo and he did some yoyo tricks like the Eiffel Tower and he did lots more tricks.

The yoyo zone is a place inside the school where the students can go to practise their yoyo tricks. To come into this zone you must have your own yoyo to practise with. The zone was run by the student council. The students loved practising their yoyos. Students can order the yoyos right here in the Te Ara Maurea Roydvale Pānui!! These yoyos will be delivered to the classrooms.

The NED taught us Never give up, Encourage others and Do your Best!!! (That's what NED stands for). Abraham did tricks with his yoyo.

Here are some of the tricks he did:

Walk the dog. This is when he rolls the yoyo on the ground and flicks it back up. This happens repetitively to make it look like the “dog” is walking.

Gravity pull. This is when he flings the yoyo BACKWARDS!

The forward pass. This is when the yoyo flings forward and then comes back to you!

Overall the students all loved the NED yoyo show and are really excited for his next visit.
