Eleven Students from Linwood College receive their Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards from the deputy mayor.

On the 29th of June, Moehangi Ngauamo, Joshua Galang, Alisha Ungerboeck, Lilyana Mato, Piper Stewart , Orion Tipuna, Kyle Amer, Jade Lindsay, Aaron Skow,  Jakhaan Pitima - Dwyer,  and Jack Triggs, along with students from other Christchurch secondary schools,  attended a formal awards ceremony at the Christchurch Civic offices. During this ceremony the students were commended for their hard work and outstanding accomplishments as Duke of Edinburgh participants and Andrew Turner, the Deputy Mayor of Christchurch presented them all with their silver award badges and certificates.  Congratulations to all these students.
