No change from yesterday. We remain open with learning occurring, all operating under our LCŌ Alert Level 2 Health and Safety Plan.

Kia ora koutou. Talofa. Kia Orana. Malo e lelei. Bula. Fakaalofa atu. Namaste and Kumusta. Greetings to everyone at LCŌ and our wider LCŌ community. 

This is a short article to thank everyone - whānau, staff, students - for their response to our Level 2 status. I walked around the whole school several times yesterday and saw lots of positive learning occurring.

I also saw some students being late for class and one teenager saying to me, "I've forgotten where my class is, sorry Mister." I was not impressed with this and let this student know this. We have informed students that any student who is not where they are supposed to be and is attempting to play the system will be sent home. This is essential for the contact tracking and tracing for the healthy functioning of our school community.

The major points of Level 2 that are different to usual school life are:

As always the first line of defence is: good hygiene practices of coughing into our elbows, regular handwashing for at least 20 seconds, and staying at home if ill.
