LCŌ's vision of Mauri Ora - Valuing the Spirit and Well-being of All is Clear at Senior Awards

Diversity is a strength of Linwood College at Ōtākaro, as we strive to deliver on our vision of "Mauri Ora through Ako."

The learners below were awarded in recognition of their contributions to the cultural diversity that makes Linwood College at Ōtākaro unique. These learners each supported the Pasifika Cultural Group and Kapa Haka group in their growth and development over the past year, have shown leadership amongst their peers and supported many different kaupapa throughout the College.

We would also like to acknowledge our academic prizes for first in class Level 1, Chase Bowen-Kaahu, also gaining first place in Te Reo Maori and first place in Maori Performing Arts.

Sharah Pirikahu-Waata was first place in Te Reo Maori Level 2, and Jasmine Keating was first place in Level 3 Te Reo Maori and Level 3 Maori Performing Arts.

We are very proud of the success of all our learners.
