Thank you for your interest in the position of Science Teacher, full-time, fixed-term maternity leave in our kura. Please state Science speciality/ies. The position is for terms 1-2 2023. This position was originally advertised as part-time 10-15 hours, but has now become full-time for terms 1-2 2023.

The reason for this position being fixed-term is because it is a maternity leave appointment. While the expectation is for the length of time stated above, a condition of any maternity leave is that the teacher on maternity leave has the right to return to the position early. For further information on this please see STCA 6.3.3.
