Kai, kōrero and whanaungatanga with our learning community.

On Thursday evening we hosted our first Whānau Connect event. This was a chance for our kaiārahi and kaiako to meet whānau and continue to strengthen this connection.

We were blessed with a beautiful afternoon, starting the event with a BBQ in our courtyard where staff, students and family could mingle. After this, whānau were grouped with kaiako for a tour of learning areas and a walk through how to use our online resources. This presentation shared details on how to access attendance data, school notices, reports and academic results. 

It was a great opportunity to kōrero and share, and we look forward to connecting with you all again at our Wā Whakanui and Senior Academic Conferencing in Term 3, so we can continue to work together for our rangatahi.
