Kōwhai House Dean's Report

Jesse Harding —

An update of all things related to students in the Kōwhai whānau.

Kia ora koutou.

We are now at the end of Term Three as this first term in our new site has gone incredibly fast. Our senior students are working towards attaining NCEA Level One, Level Two or Level Three.  If you are wanting updates on how your student is progressing towards these goals, please do not hesitate to get in touch with either myself or your student's kaiārahi.

A big thank you to all those who were able to attend our recent Academic Learning Conferences to discuss the learning that has occurred this year for our senior students and looking at their pathway next year.

I would like to take this opportunity to again thank Mrs Martin-Bowen and our eight kaiārahi for their continued work with the Kōwhai whānau this term. We are lucky to have such tremendous teachers guiding and providing awhi to our students.

The whakatauki I will leave you with today is around learning and how important this is for our well-being and future.

Whāia te mātauranga hei oranga mō koutou
Seek after learning for the sake of your wellbeing
