Computer Programming

Amelia Painter —

Junior students have been learning the basic concepts of programming using ozobots.

In the last week or two, the Year 9 and 10 Digital Technologies students have been playing with the Ozobots. They are tiny robots that are programmed using sensors to spin, speed up, turn, and move to another line. This is an unplugged activity where colour codes tell the Ozobot what to do. It teaches basic coding concepts like cause/effect, critical thinking and debugging, plus it is loads of fun.
