7 weeks of learning left of this term. Students-staff-whānau: together we will be making the most of it and we had a good start today.

Kia ora koutou. Talofa. Kia Orana. Malo e lelei. Bula. Fakaalofa atu. Namaste and Kumusta. Greetings to everyone at LCŌ and our wider LCŌ community.

It is good to be back on site and to see school-life reoccurring. The vast majority of students were back and while perhaps they were all being nice to me, everyone I spoke to said they were ready and happy to return. Certainly there were many smiles.

I was able to spend a lot of the day wandering around and was pleased to see classroom learning underway. Our focus is not on the time that has gone as that is now out of our control. Rather it is our present and future, how we, from here, use each day and week to live our lives well and keep our learning focus.

A couple of reminders thank you:

I wish to thank all families-whānau-aiga for everyone's efforts over the past weeks. What a time we have all been through, and while we will continue to face challenges over the rest of the year, there is equally no doubt of our collective strength and determination.

Ngā mihi nui -
