Te Aratai College students celebrate their success in gaining their learner licence, an important step toward independence and employment.

This year, Te Aratai College has supported dozens of students to learn the road code, practice the tests, organise their identity documents, and sit their official driver license test at VTNZ, our local testing station.

Here, Aaviya and Sohaib celebrate achieving the first step of their driving journey with their freshly-minted learner licences. Programmes like Gateway and Pre-employment Trades Training assist in supporting these students to gain skills and qualifications with real-world utility.
