Students from Aukaha, our Learning Acceleration department, participate in Canterbury School Sports every Wednesday.

Every Wednesday afternoon students from Aukaha, 9KGU and 10DML, participate in Canterbury School Sports with other high schools at Pioneer Stadium. They have played against multiple schools such as Mairehau, Halswell, Rangiroia and others. 

The focus for the games is enjoyment and participation while learning sports skills and building relationships with students from other schools. This has been an incredible opportunity for our students and is often the highlight of their week.
