Students from Aukaha, our Learning Support department, participate in Special Olympics with Sport Canterbury.

During Term 4, our OSport group from Aukaha had two teams playing multiple games of basketball. They played many different schools around Canterbury and it was just such an amazing experience for them to meet and play alongside other students similar to them and their abilities.

Our A team came 3rd and our B team came first place. They all gained confidence and felt a sense of pride in representing their school within the community.
