The Level 3 History class visited the Wigram Air Force Museum for an interactive learning experience of our current topic.

At the start of Term 3, our Level 3 History class took their study on the War in the Pacific out of the classroom for an interactive learning experience at the Air Force Museum of New Zealand. A big thank you to Chris and the educational team at Wigram for giving our ākonga an opportunity to engage close up with a wide range of historical evidence and to hear the stories of the impacts of the War in the Pacific on people. The visit to the Air Force archives was an extra bonus giving students an insight in one of the possible job opportunities for historians. To make sure nobody missed out on lunch, we finished the visit with pizza in the sunshine outside the museum.
