Adjusting our plans to keep learning and school life continuing: Tomorrow/Thursday Yrs 11 and 13; Friday Yrs 10 and 12.

Kia ora e te whānau

Immediate adjustments to rostering home starting tomorrow

Today-Wednesday we have 16 staff out and it is very much having an impact. We expect this number to increase.

In summary:

Why Yr 10 is included?

Please note the rostering home of Yr 10 on Friday and, in the table below, also on Monday.  As I said in a previous article this is not what we wish to do at all. Unfortunately the range of staff who are presently out is particularly affecting the junior school and we are choosing to staff Yrs 7-9 for as long as possible.

If Yr 10s at home is an impossible situation for whānau, please contact the school office and we will discuss what supervision can be provided: 03 982 0100 ext 0; office@linwoodcollege.school.nz

Senior Schedule rest of term 2:

Below is a table for rostering home from next week until the end of term.

Best laid plans

The above plans are based on an "average" predicted increase and we are already experiencing the need to adjust the plans. What I can say is that we will continue to attempt to communicate as promptly and as clearly as we can.

Repetition of previous information:

Communication lines: testing positive or household contact

Please email contact me, en@linwoodcollege.school.nz or txt 027 622 1090, if your child, or you, or a family household contact tests positive as you need to isolate together for at least 10 days.

Find further information about testing positive in this brochure.

COVID-19's hard impact: support is available

COVID-19 is being very hard for many families. Support for example to access food, medicine, or access financial support is available.

Help is available – COVID-19 Health Hub.
