First Foundation Scholarship Winner Phoenix Evans

Emily Whiteman —

In 2020 First Foundation received over 200 applications, and will award only 45 scholarships throughout Aotearoa.

The First foundation Scholarship is a four year programme, worth $22,000 in total, and includes financial assistance, paid work experience and a dedicated mentor to support them navigate from school, through higher education and into a meaningful career.

To become a First Foundation scholar, students need to apply, demonstrating their academic and leadership credentials. They are then shortlisted to go through a rigorous interview process with First Foundation and then with the scholarship Partner themselves.

First Foundation supports bright young Kiwis whose circumstances may make it harder to attend university.
