Community understanding of our reset expectations: correct uniform to and from school

Kia ora koutou. Talofa. Kia Orana. Malo e lelei. Bula. Fakaalofa atu. Namaste. Kumusta. Warm greetings to the Linwood community.

Some students have been wearing incorrect uniform to and from school and have been genuinely surprised when they have been told that this is not the right thing to do.  Therefore I am sending this message to all the community to give clarity of LCŌ's expectations.

All students are to be wearing the correct school uniform on the way to school, at school, and on the way home after school.  This includes on the school bus. The same school processes will apply to students wearing incorrect uniform before and after school.

As always, we wish our students to be warm and dry. It is harder to learn if you are cold.  We recognise that circumstances vary so we have procedures for lending jackets and other uniform items if required. Please speak to your child's dean if you would like to discuss this further.

Finally, schools can be complex places. Therefore, if any member of the community wishes to talk to me about anything, please contact the office, or my direct dial 982 0100 ext 839, to arrange a time for this to occur. My door is open.

Ngā mihi nui
