These awards are the most prestigious sports awards at Linwood College at Ōtākaro.

Major award winners are nominated by coaches and selected by committee. These awards are usually presented at the annual sports prize-giving, which was not held this year due to Covid. 

We are very proud of these students and their dedication to both their personal sports, but also their dedication to representing Linwood College both regionally and nationally. 

Contribution to Girls Sports Award

For their contributions to their sporting code or codes far greater than just a player. They have gone above and beyond the to do as much as they can to have an understanding positive impact on the team or athletes.

This award was presented to Patricia Pangilinan.

Captain of the year 

For showing leadership over the course of the sport season. being a role model for all other athletes, especially their team members, Outstanding Captain of the year was awarded to:

Jayden Bamford.

Julie Maxwell Award 

For showing the Linwood College values through their contribution to sport. This award was awarded to Jayden Bamford.
