Linwood College House Challenge 2021

Our first House event this year was an event for our House Leaders and it was pretty gruesome.

Our House Leaders stepped up proudly for their houses. The event consisted of eating a Chocolate-dipped onion, this had to be consumed before the next contestants could start.

Round 2 was a delicious smoothie made with spinach, tuna, garlic, mustard, grapefruit juice and a few other delicacies. This was followed by ‘find the worms’ (sour lolly) in a mud puddle (chocolate pudding) using only their mouth.

When all three of these challenges were finished they had to work together as a team to get the banana to the monkey using only their feet.

Kōwhai won this event coming in first, followed by a closely placed Waiporoporo in second. Third was Karaka, with Kākāriki coming in fourth.

On Friday, the last day of term we had our House Tabloid event where all our students competed against one another in a series of events to secure points for our House Trophy.
