Linwood Jammers Shine on Stage

On 22 June our Year 7 and 8 competitive Jump Jam team competed at the All Stars competition. We spent the afternoon getting ready at school, getting into costume, doing hair and make up, then headed to the Aurora Centre. Our team was in the hardest category for the Year 7’s and 8’s, and boy the standard was high! Although, we didn’t place we picked up 4 awards – Merit in technical execution, Excellence in costuming, merit in creative formations and excellence in sportsmanship. Our team had it together on stage, sharp moves, great extension, well timed and we even compensated well with two team members down. I was so proud of them!
