A group of Year 5 & 6 and Year 7 & 8 children, as a team, have been working extremely hard to create a creature with moving parts using our EPro 8 kit.

The Year 5 & 6 team are making a scorpion and the Year 7 & 8’s made a unicron. A video of their creatures will be sent for judging at the end of this week. 

The EPro8 Challenge is an engineering and problem solving competition. They have been learning to build large sized structures, solve practical problems, engineer using pulleys, motors, gears, wheels and axles, invent simple machines, undertake fun experiments and solve practical maths problems.

We have been delighted with their persistence, creativity, problem solving solutions and collaborative skills.
