This term for our Inquiry we have been focusing on Sustainability and what it means to have the planet in our hands. Team Harakeke have been learning about our environment and what we could do to keep our country’s resources clean and sustainable.
On Wednesday 29th November we were lucky enough to have a field trip to Riccarton Bush. We had a jampacked morning of learning including a tour of Riccarton House, a walk through Riccarton Bush and a Scavenger Hunt!
We learnt lots of exciting things while we were there and the teachers even learnt a thing or two!
This was a fantastic opportunity for our Team and a well enjoyed trip by all! Many thanks to the team at Riccarton House and Bush for their support in organising this trip especially to Sue Bridge for teaching us lots of things about the local history of Riccarton. We look forward to developing and strengthen our relationship with you.
