In Kahikatea this term we have used oil pastels to create bright and colourful works of art.
We followed the techniques of Deepak's Art and Craft, using masking tape to outline our paper, pastels to shade and smudge colour, whilst keeping within the same colour tones from light to dark.
We then used graphite pencils to outline and shade in silhouettes to create sunset and sunrise images.
