Every Wednesday morning the Kahikatea students travel to Kirkwood Intermediate to take part in technology.

There are a wide range of fun projects including: food technology, working with wood and metal and using robotics to create meaningful projects that represent student ideas and initiative. These projects give our Year 7 and 8 students the opportunity to research, plan and create while practising their drafting skills and enhancing their ability to think outside the box!

Everything learnt at technology can be further studied at high school giving our learners an excellent foundation for future endeavours. It is so wonderful to see our learners confidence and skills develop over their time spent at technology.
