This year the Year 7 students are fortunate to be involved in an outdoor pursuits programme, run by the team at Adventure Specialities.

The learners are in groups of nine and spend four Thursdays in a row travelling to locations around Christchurch where they experience some neat outdoor activities. These are all designed to challenge them, extend their perseverance and creative thinking and improve their leadership skills.

The four activities are comprised of a High Ropes course, a bush walk, mountain biking and coasteering with kayaking. Our learners are showing huge improvements through this and we are so proud of their collaboration and displays of great character.
