We have started Term 1 with lots of relationship building and exploring of our new learning space - for many of our learners it is their first time in Tē Tūāraki and we feel very excited for what we can achieve in this wonderful space.

We held our first team Hui in Week 2 where we acknowledged our tamariki who have demonstrated the 3 R's of Respect, Responsibility and Real Learning. We also welcomed our new students Sione Hale, Soloswin, Ryan, Ethan, Kyle & Sally Jense to Space 10.

Until now we have been busy reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, practising our swimming skills in preparation for next week's event, diving deep into Te Tiriti o Waitangi and participating in fun STEAM activities. Our Year 5 & 6 learners are looking forward to camp at Woodend in Week 7. 

We would also like to welcome Whaea Theresa (Koorey) to Space 10 as our release teacher - nau mai tauti mai e hoa. She will be teaching in 10A every Wednesday morning and every second Thursday in 10C.
