Healthy break time snacks
It has been fantastic to see the children loving the Ka Ora Ka Ako | Healthy School Lunches and trying new foods!
Just a friendly reminder about what is coming to school for break time snacks. Please DO NOT send chips, cakes, biscuits, flavoured milk and/or juice. It is very important that you send in healthy snacks. Children need to eat many different foods to be healthy and to grow. The four main food groups contain a mixture of carbohydrate, fat, protein, vitamins and minerals – all of which children need as they grow.
