We would like to invite you to attend a whānau information evening we have organised with Dr. Dean Sutherland, on Wednesday 1st August at 5:45pm.

Dr. Dean Sutherland is a member of our school Board of Trustees and works at the University of Canterbury in the Department of Communication Disorders.

The information evening is called;

“How can I talk with my kids so they will listen – and learn?”

This session will include –

• What language should I use at home?

• What do children need so they can learn to speak...?

• Talking with my kids is hard – what can I do?

• What can I do to help my child speak?

• How can I talk with my children so they will listen?

There will also be a question time to help answer any nagging questions.

We know that you will find this session both interesting and useful and hope you will be able to join us.
