Muffin Break Cookie Workshop where children get to create and decorate a cookie that they make, Muffin Break bake it for them so the children can enjoy their creation!

Please sign up and register at Muffin Break Bush Inn, numbers are limited.

Sessions at 10.30am & 1pm everyday from 30th Sept – 4th Oct. (First week of School Holidays).

Price: $5

Items: Kids get their cookie baked and to take away if desired, they also get to keep a Baker’s Hat and Apron. Also, some colouring in to do!

Parents/caregivers receive a voucher to spend at Muffin Break.

Ages: Preschool – 11 years of age.

Life Skills for Women: Christchurch City Central

Eight Thursday mornings 10am – 12pm: October 24th to December 12th 2019.

Venue: Salvation Army Centre, 853 Colombo St, Christchurch. (Parking available)

Session 1: Introductions: Manaakitanga

· Getting to know you, and each other.

· Self-Awareness: Getting to know yourself as a whole person.

Session 2: Setting goals: A dream is a goal without a plan.

· Taking charge of your life, one step at a time

· Dream: Where would you like to be in 5 years’ time?

Session 3: Budgeting: Facing up to the numbers without fear.

· A real budget: What does it cost you to live each week.

· Skills for living within your income.

Session 4: Physical well-being: Taha Tinana: Love your amazing body

· Looking after your physical self. Investing in the rest of your life.

· Feeling great and developing healthy habits.

Session 5: Emotional and mental wellness: Taha Hinengaro: Letting it go.

· Looking after YOU. Owning your feelings. Letting go of stress.

· Becoming stronger, calmer, more resilient and self-confident.

Session 6: Relationships: Taha whanau: Aroha: Seeking the highest good in everyone.

· Who are the important people in your life? Significant others and family/whanau

· How to intentionally strengthen all of your relationships.

Session 7: Dealing with conflict: It’s time to talk.

· Becoming more assertive, and less passive or aggressive.

· How to have difficult conversations.

· Dealing with interpersonal issues in a new way.

Session 8: Graduation & Evaluation: Time to celebrate.

GIRLS CRICKET STARTS IN TERM 4 – REGISTER QUICKLY

Parents – consider your daughter playing cricket this season in an all girls grade. But you do need to

get in quick as registrations are nearly closed. We are looking for 2-3 more girls to make up a new

year 4/5/6 girls team. So register your daughter and her friend or sister.

Its QUICK – finished by lunchtime Saturday.

Its FUN – they play in an all girls grade and everyone gets a chance to bat and bowl every game

NO EXPENSIVE GEAR NEEDED – the club supplies it all.

St Albans Cricket Club is located centrally at Hagley Park. The season starts in October and we are

now taking registrations for junior girls in years 4-8. We have a proud female history with 2 current

NZ players (including the captain) several girls in the Canterbury Magicians womens team and many

age group players. We even have girls from overseas playing with us this season. So we are an
