Spring

Whaea Richelle —

Room 3 have been enjoying and exploring our changing spring days around kura.

We have been using our outside spaces to inspire our descriptive writing. We have been writing about what we see, feel, hear and smell (using our senses). “Ahakoa, he iti he pounamu." ( Although it is small it is precious.)

Spring

By Eparama Waka Room 3

Spring looks like blossoms growing from the trees with pretty colours.

Spring sounds silent and peaceful.

Spring smells like it is almost Summer.

Spring tastes like ice cream dripping out of my cone.

Spring feels like the sun is shining on me as I eat ice blocks.

Spring

Spring looks like baby animals are born and blossoming flowers.

Spring sounds like chirping birds and lambs playing and “baa”ing.

Spring smells like flowers and freshly cut grass.

Spring tastes like ice cream melting in the sunlight.

Spring feels like hot sunny days and paddling pools splashing on me.

Spring

Spring looks like flowers blossoming and playful children.

Spring sounds like baby animals playing and rain falling.

Spring smells like breezy wind.

Spring tastes like yummy ice cream and sticky sweets.

Spring feels like days are longer and warming sun.
