Over the past few weeks,Team Pātītī and Harakeke have been busy selecting poems, practising Mihimihis and learning to share poems with confidence and clarity, in order to get ready for our Junior Poetry Evening.

In Week 10 we held our Semi Finals!

The following learners were selected to recite their poem at our Junior Poetry Evening.

Haylee Bateman, Lili Kautau, Ryder Poumale, Oscar Tamafuta, Aroha Kingi-Hazel, Istar Abdi, Mia Kuiler, Mikaela Duenas-Manibo, Jaimee Forbes, Vake Tuliakiono, Mason Whalley, Arslaan Pathan, Tilisa Via, Grace Malifa, Xy Salcedo, Jade Brown, Serenaia Elia and Layla Wilkie.

This was held last night.
We listened to some incredibly confident learners who showed the Riccarton values of being Respectful, Responsible, Real Learners!

There was a wide range of poems, and it was wonderful to hear so many confident learners!
