On the 9th of May, 10B and 10C had an amazing time at Garden to Table!

10C went first and started by choosing three people to go and get rid of the leaves near our gaga pit while the rest of the students were in the hall planting colourful pansies and bulbs for a special day coming up.

The students finished potting their plants, and made beautiful, colourful cuffs that went around their flower pots.

Next it was 10B's turn for Garden to Table.

One group of learners started their session by pulling out weeds and cutting down plants that were overgrown. A second group were in the kitchen, and they made cheese muffins with pesto sauce. At the end of the session they learnt about mushrooms and had a taste of the cheese muffins. Then all learners went back to class with a box that grows mushrooms!
