Year 7/8 Careers at Te Kāpehu Riccarton

Whaea Adele —

This term the Year 7 and 8 tamariki are completing a Careers Unit.

This is focused around learning what skills and qualities are needed for their future endeavours. We have been so lucky to have the support of some amazing members of our community coming in to talk with us about what they do and how they got to where they are today.
So far we have had presentations from:

Jordan Te Whaiti - A junior doctor at Christchurch Hospital who talked to us about what it takes to be a doctor and taught us the art of suturing on bananas!
