Duffy Theatre
Last week we were lucky enough to have the Duffy Theatre come and visit!
They presented a play based around Covid 19, giving strategies on how to deal with anxiety surrounding uncertain times. The play was hilarious and all the students were fully engaged as the actors sang, danced and used both English and Te Reo Māori to share their story.
And of course they pushed the benefits of reading!
We have the Duffy Role Model assembly coming up in a few weeks where students will be presented with two free Duffy books for the term and a special visitor will come and talk about why they love reading so much!!
Research shows that reading every night is hugely beneficial for our tamariki!
