Twirligigs
On Friday, for Club R3 in Room 5, Whaea Caitlin taught us how to make 'Twirligigs'.
We had to use paper, glue, kebab sticks and a hot glue gun. When we spun the Twirligigs, they made cool colours and sounds. Anna and Tahlia became expert tuakana teina helpers, showing their Real Learner qualities as they helped their classmates and teachers. We had so much fun twirling our Twirligigs all the way to the gate at the end of the day!
There are lots of videos on YouTube if you want to try making one at home.
