On Wednesday 29th July, 10 year 7/8 learners and 3 very excited teachers travelled to Hagley Oval.

At the Oval they got to play cricket with Richie McCaw as well as receive some amazing sports equipment for our school. It appeared that Richie was very impressed with our cricket skills, even those of Debbie, Mr Irving and Whaea Judith.

Each learner received a signed card from Richie on which there is space for them to add some of their personal goals.

A great afternoon was had by all.
