Room 1 tamariki went on an autumn walk at our kura, crunched in the leaves, played amongst the leaves then inspired by nature and our experiences, then wrote didactic cinquain poems.

Didactic cinquain poems are 5 lined poems where the title, some adjectives, verbs and feelings are all included. Here are a few examples:
