On Wednesday the 9th of November some of our 8  to 13 year old students went to the West Zone Athletics day at Middleton Grange School. 

The students that went to the West Zone Athletics day were competing in athletics events against other schools in our area. They all did their best and had a fun time. Some of the events that students competed in were, 50-100m sprints, discus, shot put, long jump and high jump. Eight of our students are going to be competing at the Canterbury Athletics competition early next month, they are:

Karemaki Hala - Shot Put 

Chanh Ta - Shot Put

Tui Hala - Shot Put 

Dibrae Jarden - Discus 

Paige Taylor - Discus 

Jemma McDonald - High Jump 

Tevita Tatu - High Jump 

Nicolas Raimundo - 100m Sprints
