Room 1 created a waka as a part of a wall display for our Navigating the Journey learning.

Each tamariki wrote some comments about their strengths, goals, interests and what they contribute to Room 1 and our kura. Just like a waka needs many people to help guide it through water, we need to all bring our talents and strengths to the classroom where we work together to achieve to the best of our abilities!
